Drystone Retaining Wall Rebuild, Dundee.

I spent two weeks in Dundee enjoying perfect weather while rebuilding a garden retaining wall. The brief was to reuse all the original stone, supplemented with some additional Angus sandstone that was brought in.

The original material had been reclaimed from a stone cottage, so there were plenty of oddly shaped pieces I wanted to incorporate into the build.

Thankfully, there was no shortage of stone for snecks and jumpers, which gave me the flexibility to tie everything together solidly and with character.
